The artist who has been notoriously secretive and averse to using social media has finally signaled to fans that a new era is coming. The luminous update comes four years after the release of her 2017 album, Melodrama.
On the “Green Light,” singer’s website, cover art for the single is plastered on the home page, as Lorde and her long legs and bare bottom glide across the screen. Below, a mysterious message to her fans reads, “ARRIVING IN 2021…PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE.” Then fans are given the option to sign up for updates about the forthcoming new era of Lorde.
The New Zealand native rose to fame at just 16-years-old, with her debut album, Pure Heroine. Since then the artist has taken her time between projects, often being hush-hush about releases and more.
