We were never really supposed to hear “Dissolve,” the slow-burning hit from Absofacto that broke through finally in 2019. Once just a bedroom project from songwriter and producer Jonathan Visger, the song wasn't made to be a part of our lives, just to help Visger work through his own.
“I wrote it a few years ago when I was going through some relationship stuff, and I kinda wrote it for myself,” he tells RADIO.COM. “Then all of the sudden this year it reached so many people. It’s all everywhere. It changed my life.”
The plunky electronic love song shot to new heights this year, becoming a hit across the country and catapulting Absofacto to new levels, despite being initially released in 2017.

It’s one of three songs that Absofacto performed for us when he stopped by, also delivering the atmospheric “Ocean,” and his latest release, “Rewind.”
