We got H.E.R., Lil Wayne, Megan Thee Stallion, Justin Bieber, Nas, Jay-Z, Drake, Puff Daddy (formally known as Diddy), Meek Mill and even a reggae track featuring heavy hitters— Buju Banton, Bounty Killer, Capleton and Barrington Levy.
Khaled announced the lineup via social media, but is still teasing that there's more. He writes, "I Know I said ALBUM 100% DONE but it might be 101% STAY TUNED! Also the next post is gonna.... Earlier on Wednesday, Khaled confirmed that Khaled Khaled is "100% done" and will be available this Friday.
Khaled spread the good news about the highly-anticipated LP on social media. He writes, "this my name. This is my legacy. This my COVER. Time to bring MORE LIGHT." He also teased more tricks he has up his sleeve. "I have a gift for the world. I can’t wait to share it with you. Let’s talk tomorrow, are you available??," he captioned with a photo of the album's cover art.
The cover art features Khaled in a meditative position while his two boys, Asahd poses and Aalam happily admires his father. Asahd (4) and Aalam (1) are also listed as executive producers on the project.
As a striver of perfection, Khaled is seeking to get the album's completion to "101%" with "one more call for last [minute] magic!" On Monday, he discussed the greatness of his new album while a choir sang behind him. The We The Best founder expressed, "'Khaled Khaled' is coming. It's special. I worked my whole career. I worked my whole life, and I'm just getting started. But to make this album... was... God's hands all over it. Be great but be grateful. And remember, the light is love and God is love. When it's dark, be the sun. I am Khaled Khaled, child of God."
