In case you weren’t sure if Doja Cat was really planning to quit music, her recents tweets should clear that right up.

After Doja’s scheduled appearance at Asunciónico festival in Paraguay on March 22 was canceled because of bad weather, fans took to the internet to express their disappointment at the star not meeting crowds posted up outside her hotel. .
Well Doja wasn’t having any of that, and in response, the musician tweeted: “it’s gone and i don’t give a f*** anymore.” Before making some pretty big claims. “I f***in quit i can’t wait to f***ing disappear and i don’t need you to believe in me anymore. Everything is dead to me, music is dead, and i’m a f***ing fool for ever thinking i was made for this this is a f***ing nightmare unfollow me.”
Remaining optimistic, Mix 105.1’s Pike Taylor questioned her heated claims after she seemed to have apologized. And when he tweeted, “Ok so maybe @DojaCat isn’t retiring,” linking the article about her aforementioned apology, Doja quickly clapped back.
Replying, “Yes the f*** I am,” which actually remains confusing, because it doesn’t indicate if that applied to the apology or the retirement.

Now, a few days later, it seems Doja is here to make things abundantly clear that she’ll be taking care of booked business, which includes her appearances on The Weeknd’s After Hours Tour, among a few other things, and then that’s about it.
“For those who are seeing me at the after hours tour, i’m not bailing. But me not bailing doesn’t mean my a** isn’t gonna disappear right after,” the artist clarified. “I still got s*** i gotta do. and a lot of y’all think cuz i post a f***in picture it means i’m not out. Pic doesn’t = music GOOFY”
“So yes that still means i got videos to film i got performances to do and I got content to drop,”she continued in a follow up tweet. “So i’m pooping it out and dippin. i ain’t gone yet.”
