FX chairman John Landgraf made the announcement that the hit series will end with Season 4, Variety reports. Seasons 3 and 4 had been shot back to back, meaning Atlanta fans will get two brand new seasons to watch this year.

Season 3 is set to debut on March 24th as season 4 will air this fall. “The fourth and final season is slated to debut in the same manner this fall,” Landgraf said. “The new season is everything you’ve come to expect from Atlanta, which is to say, expect the unexpected. Sit back and enjoy the trip.”

Glover, AKA Childish Gambino, has previously spoken on how he envisions the third season of Atlanta playing out and what his philosophy is for the show’s plot development.

“I align the seasons I think, to me, like Kanye [West] records,” he said. “I feel like this is our Graduation. This is probably our most accessible but also the realest — an honest version of it — and I feel like the most enjoyable, like the third album. We were all on iMessage together and kind of talking about it, and I think people were really hungry to like beat ourselves, which is great.”

Since its debut, Atlanta has won five Emmy Awards and received a total of 22 nominations. Get caught up and stream all seasons of Atlanta, now on on Hulu.
