Speculations have been buzzing about the doings of Ed Sheeran after he was spotted in London filming a new video. Now fans suspect that we are finally getting music from the “Afterglow” singer.

After 18 months of a hiatus, Sheeran was seen in Cartford, South East London potentially filming scenes for a new music video on top of the Cartford Shopping Centre.
The Sun reported that Ed was decked out in his best vampire attire for the video, as extras dressed as zombies and ghouls also appeared in the shoot. Additionally, the artist was also caught playing his acoustic guitar atop the roof in Cartford.
Someone who spotted the Halloween-esque shoot told The Sun, “It was obvious something big was happening, there were camera crews and security cordons set-up. But you still don’t expect a superstar to be on the roof of the shopping center.”
They added, “He’s so recognizable straight away, and at that point, he was just in his normal gear with his guitar so word got around fairly fast that Ed was filming – but he was cool about it, he was waving to some kids and laughing about it all, it was pretty surreal.”
In February the 30-year-old shared that he’d be returning at some point in 2021 to debut his fourth album. However, in the meantime, Sheeran has been enjoying his break and spending time being a father to his baby girl, Lyra. Sheeran and his wife, Cherry Seaborn welcomed their daughter into the world during the summer of 2020.
