We are finally getting the full follow-up to Ellie Goulding’s 2015 album Delirium, with a new album that is set to launch on July 17. Goulding’s upcoming eighteen-track album, Brightest Blue, will be a powerful extension of her previously released singles, which includes the wildly successful “Close To Me.”

The Diplo produced track, which highlights fantastical synth-pop sounds and upbeat verses from Swae Lee, will sit alongside songs that feature collaborations from the late Juice WRLD, Lauv, blackbear and serpentwithfeet.

Ellie shares that there are two different sides to the feelings and emotions that the songs on the album convey. The five previously heard tracks tell a story of “vulnerability” but also, about being “confident brave, and fearless” she shared in a statement.

In addition to telling a story about heartache and the trials and tribulations of relationships, Ellie explains that, “the tracks also symbolize growing up and becoming a woman.”
