Before delving into his new comedy show, the actor and comedian first talked about past projects, answered a fan question, discussed the differences between pulling pranks and acting in scripted shows, and explained the premise behind his new book, Dumb Ideas.

Then, describing his tour as “a bit of a messy comedy show,” Eric advised those listening that it’d be ideal to “bring a poncho,” if they plan on being in attendance. “It’s somewhere between Gallagher and GG Allin,” Eric added, also calling it “pretty intense.” He continued, “I’m doing a live talk show, but I make a gigantic mess and I destroy every venue.”

As for the guests on this “live talk show” of Eric’s, he said, “we pull people out of the audience, but also have local legends.” Revealing that during the most recent show in Milwaukee, “we had Milverine, he’s like a Milwaukee Wolverine, like Hugh Jackman.”

For all that, and a whole lot of laughs, listen to the entire conversation above.
