Red has always been Eva Longoria’s color.
The former “Desperate Housewives” star, 46, took to Instagram to show off her incredible figure while posing in a fiery red one-shoulder bikini. The star accessorized the look with large black sunglasses and a casual high pony-tail.
Longoria paid tribute to her former role on the hit ABC drama series with a second throwback photo of her character, Gabrielle Solis, walking down porch steps on set while rocking a tight red mini dress.
The mother of one captioned the photo, “Even #20YearsLater, she still knew red was her color #DesperateHousewives.” The post has received over 300,000 likes.
“Desperate Housewives” aired for eight seasons from 2004 until 2012.
The show, produced and created by Marc Cherry, also starred
Felicity Huffman, Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross, and Nicollette Sheridan. The hit comedy-drama series went on to win multiple Primetime Emmy, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Longoria has continued to stay busy throughout her career. Earlier this week, the actress announced she found the lead stars for the upcoming biopic about the creator of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. The project is Longoria's feature film directorial debut.
“I’m SO excited!! It was so important for me to cast Mexican-American actors in these pivotal roles when telling Richard Montañez’s story authentically,” the actress wrote on Instagram.
Longoria shares son Santiago, 2, with husband and Mexican businessman, José Bastón.
