The organizers behind Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp have announced the first ever Women Only rock camp set to take place in Los Angeles.
Headlining mentors include Melissa Etheridge, Nancy Wilson, Kathy Valentine of The Go-Go’s, Orianthi, and more.
"It's so inspiring having organizations such as The Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp embrace and support women in the music industry,” Etheridge said in a statement. “I'm looking forward to meeting the campers and collaborating with everyone there!"
“The Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp is always a joy to do. Looking forward to the first ever all girl camp this year! It ought to be extra cool and extra fun,” Nancy Wilson added.
In addition to the headlining mentors listed above, a group of musicians with impressive resumes are set to participate as well. This includes, Rhonda Smith (Prince, Jeff Beck), Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson), Eva Gardner (P!nk, Gwen Stefani), Ashley Reeve (Cher, Filter), Jennie Vee (Eagles of Death Metal) and many more.
The exclusive Women Only camp will provide women of all ages the opportunity to hone their skills while learning from some of the best in the business.
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp’s Women Only Rock Camp will take place over GRAMMY weekend, January 27-30, 2022. Aside from the mentor musicians, the crew and staff working the event will be composed of an entire female workforce.
