This Mother's Day was extra special for Gabby Barrett, who celebrated the day with her 16-month-old daughter, and announcing that baby number two is on the way.

Taking to Instagram to share the exciting news, Gabby posted an ultrasound video, captioned “My son," alongside a blue heart emoji. Adding, “Another LIFE we get to love and cherish. Happy Mothers Day!”
Barrett’s hubby and, fellow American Idol alum Cade Foehner, whom she wed back in 2019, posted the same clip, giving a Mother's Day shoutout to his "amazing, strong, and fruitful Bride.” Going on to say, "She is currently carrying another precious life made in the image of God," before including bible verse, Proverbs 31:28.

The former singing competition contestants tied the knot in October 2019 and welcomed their first child, daughter Baylah May, three years later in January 2021.
Last year, while talking to E! News about finding the balance between her career and being a mom, Gabby said, "Motherhood is definitely my top priority out of everything.” Adding that Baylah, is “just my whole entire world now and so I've just been trying to figure out that balance of having time and spending time with her, and being a hands-on mom.” As well as “performing and giving fans, and people that have been supporting me, what they want—new music, performances and all those things—so it's been really fun. I am figuring it out right now and I'm just excited for this year to come.”
Well with her recent nomination for Female Artist of the Year at the 2022 ACM Awards, going on tour with Jason Aldean, and performing at CMA Fest 2022 this June, just to name a few, we think Gabby has done an amazing job at juggling her duties as mommy and Country star, and have no doubt she’ll continue to do so with the addition of baby number 2.
