It's a girl! Country couple and American Idol season 16 alums Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner announced the birth of their daughter Baylah May on Monday, January 25, giving us our very first look at the little bundle of joy.
Mom Gabby posted a pic of baby Baylah, born on January 18, swaddled in a blanket showing only part of her face, but it’s a cute little tease that we’re happy to take! She captioned the photo saying, "Gotten to spend a very sweet week with our newest addition.. meet our girl…"

Dad Cade also posted the same image on his own social channels along with a touching message of faith and adoration.
“The Lord Jesus has given me so much that I scarce can believe it," Foehner wrote. "Not only to be saved from sin because of His Gospel but to also be given a Wife who is not only my best friend in the whole wide world but who also has bore me a child. I am a blessed man beyond my understanding."

The last year was incredible for Gabby, as 2020 brought the 20-year-old singer her chart-topping single, "I Hope," her debut album Goldmine, and a ton of accolades, and awards show nominations. “I’d probably say unexpected but blessed if I can put it in a small way,” Gabby reflects when asked to sum it all up.
