The Goo Goo Dolls are taking fans on a yuletide quest to reclaim the spirit of Christmas in their latest AR movie It’s Christmas All Over.

The show takes place in a virtual live stream environment where the Goo Goo Dolls travel through time in search of the lost “Spirit of Christmas.” Fans go on a trip to various time periods including a 1940’s speakeasy to the set of The Ed Sullivan Show.

All the while, the Dolls will plays classic holiday standards and cuts off their latest Christmas album. They hope the music will unify a country that’s been divided by a contentious year. "It was such an amazing experience getting to play songs from our new record live for the first time," lead singer John Rzeznik said in a press release. "We can’t wait for everyone to see and hear these Christmas tunes in this unique way.”

FanTracks handled production of the hour-long program that’s set to premiere Saturday, December 12 at 7PM ET / 4PM PT.

Super fans can get an exclusive sneak-peak with VIP access a day before show. That package includes video Meet-and-Greets and a Q&A with the band. Check out the band’s website for more details.
