Despite an unfortunate postponement in Europe into 2022, Green Day's Hella Mega Tour along with Weezer and Fall Out Boy is still set to rock stadiums in the States. For those fans who obsessively follow along, you knew something was afoot after singer Billie Joe Armstrong posted a teaser clip of a "nice little intro" last week on the band's Instagram. Today, "Pollyanna" arrives along with a vertical lyric video to go along. "Hurricanes and headlines/standing in another line/it's wonderful to be alive/everything is gonna be alright," Armstrong sings on the single, apropos for our daily lives as we scratch our collective way out from over a year of lockdown.

The band has also announced a reshuffling of some dates on their highly-anticipated Hella Mega Tour in the U.S. While the 2021 outing is still going ahead as planned, a few date changes have been made along the way.

Each of the bands announced on social media today: For those in Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco - "your shows will now be moving to the end of summer. Your current tickets will be valid for the new dates. If you can’t make it, ticket holders (for these four shows) will be emailed directly with refund options. Columbus and Milwaukee, you're in luck - we've added shows in your cities. Both shows will go on sale Friday, 5/21."

Dates, details and tickets are available now at GreenDay.com.
