On Monday, June 28, Halsey took to Instagram to announce the arrival of her fourth studio album. Last week the “Graveyard” singer had fans buzzing with speculation about the potential of new music.
Sharing a video clip of the new billboard promoting her album, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, we hear a short snippet of music where Halsey is singing the words, “all of this is temporary,” as heavy electric guitars play.
The post is captioned, “If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power The FOUTH album by Halsey Produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.”
Last week Twitter was blowing up with rumors of “H4,” as the singer began sending out postcards to anonymous fans. The snail mail included imagery from the new album and a wax seal that read “H4.”
Halsey’s last release, Manic reached number two on the U.S. Billboard 200 charts and included beloved hits such as “Graveyard” and “Without Me.” The full-length album also boasted features from BTS’ Suga and Alanis Morissette.
