Here's how to watch BTS' digital concert, this weekend

'BTS MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E' promises to bring the K-Pop experience into your home

BTS continues dominating the pandemic pop scene, announcing a series of digital concerts this weekend to celebrate the release of their upcoming new album BE (Deluxe Edition).

BTS MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E begins October 10, going through October 11. The interactive concert experience promises to delight fans with visual features such as 4K resolution, AR and XR. ARMY will be able to customize their own viewing experience, choosing which camera shot they want to see, as well as interact with each other by forming private watch party rooms.

The group posted a cryptic teaser video for the event that brings all the intrigue. House beats bop and rumble against color filtered shots showing the guys intensely posing.

Big Hit Entertainment, the talent company operating the event, says fans will be treated to a unique experience. "We have prepared never-before-seen stages and various setlists for fans who must have felt disappointed by the cancellation of offline concerts due to COVID-19,” the group said in a released statement.

“Some songs will also be given variations across the two days.”

Map of the Soul: ON:E is scheduled to being 6 AM ET on Saturday, with the second performance beginning 3 AM ET on Sunday. You can get digital tickets here.

It’s no rest for BTS. The group is also slated to perform at The Billboard Music Awards October 14. The group is nominated for two awards, and will join artists Demi Lovato, Sia and legendary R&B group En Vogue, who'll be celebrating their 30th anniversary by performing their 1992 classic, "Free Your Mind."
