It’s only fitting that the actress helped the talk host end the show’s run after 19 years as one of the final guests. Degeneres mentions it's Aniston’s 20th time on the show!

The old friends chatted through tears and laughter during the final episode Thursday as Aniston dropped a jokingly juicy tidbit about how she handled the ending of “Friends”.

“Well, I got a divorce and went into therapy,” she said in reference to her breakup with then husband Brad Pitt.

Amidst big laughs and applause the star of "The Morning Show" continued, “I just kind of leaned into the end. I was like, ‘you know what guys? Let’s make this a completely new chapter… Let’s just end everything and start new.’”

The longtime pals goofed on Aniston’s first appearance on the show as they brought up the clip and discussed their wardrobes. Aniston remarked how she didn’t have a stylist's help that day and was wearing jeans and a tank top. She then referred to Degeneres’s outfit as having a “golfer vibe,” which the in-studio audience loved.

Degeneres said her plans following the show’s finale were to “lay low” and “rest” and that she knows she’ll work again but not in what capacity.

Aniston then told Degeneres she’d love to see her get back into stand up or acting and even offered to give her a job.

“My house needs a lot of odds and ends done,” the actress said as Degeneres then promptly cut to a commercial break.

The interview ended with Aniston gifting Degeneres a welcome mat (as she did during her first appearance) only this mat read “Thanks for the memories.”

“The Ellen Degeneres Show” will continue to air over the summer featuring guest hosts, compilation shows, and repeat episodes.
