More than 17 years ago, Christa B. Allen played a 13-year-old version of actress Jennifer Garner’s character Jenna in the popular film “13 Going on 30” and this year, she turned 30 herself.

“It’s so weird, because people are saying that you’re 30,” said Jennifer Garner in a video birthday message to the actress. “How can we both be 30 at the same time?”

Allen shared the birthday greeting on her TikTok account Friday.

“I’ve cried so much over the last 3 days…thank you for all of the sweet birthday messages!!” said the caption.

“OMG dying over this sweet birthday message from Jen,” Allen added.

Since playing Garner’s younger self in the 2004 rom-com, Allen also starred as a younger version of Garner’s character Jenny in “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past” five years later. She also portrayed Charlotte Grayson on the ABC TV series “Revenge.”

Garner, now 49, recently appeared in “Yes Day” on Netflix.
However, she decided to celebrate her 30th again along with Allen.

“Happy 30th to you and happy 30th to me, I guess…I just wished on a doll house and I didn’t really age,” she joked, in a reference to “13 Going on 30.”
