Following up on the release last year of their ninth full-length album, The Art Of Survival, U.K. rockers Bush dropped their brand new single “All Things Must Change” today, May 3. Upon its release, frontman Gavin Rossdale stated about the new collaboration between top producer/writer Erik Ron, and Bush guitarist Chris Traynor: “This is nature. All things are changing. All the time.”

Diving straight into what's on the immediate horizon for the group, Bush will soon be releasing their 2022 album The Art Of Survival on June 9 as a deluxe edition with added bonuses. Included within the deluxe release will be two live versions of the lead single "More Than Machines," and "Heavy Is The Ocean," plus Gavin reveals, a new mix of "1000 Years" featuring Amy Lee of Evanescence.

"Amy Lee is so great and took us so far Uptown," Rossdale gushes. "We were down in the Bowery before she joined the song," he adds. "Incredible... I'm so excited for people to hear that song... She elevated it somewhere insane. She's one of my favorite singers of all time, she has the most incredible voice, and I never thought we'd ever collaborate."

Their first time working together happened when Bush was touring through Nashville, Gavin remembers, after inviting Amy, who lived in town, to join them on stage for a song. Unfortunately, Amy responded that she was unable to perform with them that day, and Gavin felt as though he may have put her on the spot. Not long after, Amy sent back the song Gavin had asked her to join them on, with her own vocals added to the mix.

"It was so beautiful," Gavin says. "I was really proud of that song and it meant a lot to me already, but then with Amy on it... it's just too good. I can brag about it because I'm bragging about her."

Working with more female voices could become a trend for Gavin after hearing just how well the Evanescence singer fit with his own. "Clearly I've just begun thinking of that... I would love that," he admits. "[Halestorm's] Lzzy Hale is also another heroine of mine, she's incredible."

Offering up some sage advice for up and coming artists -- and, honestly anyone with a bit of a temper -- Gavin says one thing people should focus on is tampering down the anger in emails and texts. "If you have anger and you have issues, you should be short and clear but do it on the phone," he says. "The thing is, the issue passes but the email remains."

One trick he's learned and passed on to us: "I write the email but I immediately take their name off of the top," Gavin reveals. "I put my own name, and let it rip! I've got a vicious way with words, I can really let go, Then I get it and I'm like, 'OK I feel better.' You've just got to get it out... like songs."
