Well this should be interesting. Apparently Kanye West’s former bodyguard Steve Stanulis is working on a tell-all documentary. Which if it were not a total invasion of privacy, we’d be kind of excited to drink up all the tea.

Regardless, its happening, as Stanulis is reportedly shopping around the story of his time working with the controversial rapper to various streaming services. Steve worked with Ye in 2016, around the time of some of his more memorable moments, including his meltdown on the set of Saturday Night Live, and various events such as New York Fashion Week and the Met Gala.

The former NYPD officer and Chippendales dancer spoke to Page Six about two studios approaching him about the potential project and that he wants to start filming as soon as next month. “They see this as a 48 Hours for real, or a Lethal Weapon for real,” he explained. “It comes from my mouth, I worked with West two separate times.” He added, “Every day was a new adventure. There are a ton of stories I haven’t told.”

Sharing a bit of what to expect, Stanulis alleged that there was one time when a tipsy West wandered into the wrong hotel room of an Italian dignitary at the Waldorf, nearly starting an altercation. “Every day was a new adventure,” he said. “There are a ton of stories I haven’t told.”

As a bonus, Steve revealed that other of Kanye's past bodyguards would also be participating in the upcoming doc with behind-the-scenes details, including one who apparently lasted for “five minutes” working for West.

Even though Stanulis boasts he was at one point “one of West’s favorite guys,” the pair’s relationship is no longer in great standing as West has threatened his former bodyguard with numerous lawsuits, all of which have had no follow through.

While a huge multimillion-dollar lawsuit would discourage most people from telling their story, Stanulis is using the event as the jumping-off point for his proposed documentary. “It starts off with the $30 million lawsuit, and works backwards, with all the craziness. Why not address the elephant in the room?” he explained. “They threatened to sue me two separate times. Once back in the day, and then on a podcast this year.” Referring to his appearance on the Hollywood Raw podcast, on which he called West the “neediest, moodiest and worst tipper” of any star he’d worked for. “It went viral, and they threatened to sue me again for $10 million, and my attorney countered and it just went away.”

Though we believe there’s more to it, Stanulis added that he hopes the documentary will make it so “nobody has to ask me about this ever again. I swear to you—no matter what I do… somewhere along the line the job with West comes up.” But with the release of the film, he says there will be “nothing left to be said. I’m saying it all.” Like we said… this should be interesting.
