Kate Hudson has been racking up the likes on Instagram lately on her swimsuit pictures, but the 42-year old actress recently shared the hard work that goes into sculpting her svelte figure.

The Golden Globe winner posted a video this Saturday where she showed her next-level exercise routine that includes an ab routine featuring stirrups. To do the exercise, Hudson held herself up on her forearms in a plank position while her feet were in the suspension trainer before arching her body into a pyramid shape and then slowly bringing her knees to her chest.

Hudson’s trainer, Brian Nguyen, can be heard coaching her through the exercise, instructing her to “establish your plank” before asking her to “hold, own this, so slow to this diamond.”

Hudson shared the video with a caption explaining that she “carried 3 babies who did a number on these hips and shoulders,” writing that her ab routine is an effort to balance out carrying her children “ALL DAY LONG (literally AND figuratively).”

A second video shows Hudson doing floor exercises where she alternated between fast and slow reps of a core-sculpting exercise in which she crouched on the ground and placed her hands on the floor shoulder-width apart before balancing on an opposite hand and foot, kicking out the other leg diagonally across her body, and pulling her other arm in a fist across her chest.

Last week, Hudson shared that her body has changed since the birth of her daughter Rani Rose in 2018, reports People. “My body always snapped back pretty fast after babies. Food is 80% of the process always BUT I realized she wasn't powering the way I like! I was quite athletic when I was younger and she hasn't been responding to my usual,” she wrote on an Instagram story.

“Let’s see what she can do at 42,” Hudson continued.
