It was a musical morning at the Hudson household.
On Saturday, the Golden Globe winner joined her 2 ½-year-old daughter, Rani Rose, in a rendition of the beloved children’s nursery rhyme “Skidamarink.”
"Saturday Morning Special with Rani Rose, On Repeat…and repeat….aaaand repeat….aaaand," the 42-year-old captioned the clip of them singing.
In the video, Rani can be seen singing into a bedazzled microphone as Hudson chimes in whenever her daughter forgets the lyrics.
Without outshining her daughter, Hudson even showed off some of her vocal chops by hitting the harmony.
While Hudson is known for her acting career, she has lent her voice to several projects including “Nine,” “Music,” and several episodes of “Glee.”
Earlier this year, the “Knives Out 2” star posted an adorable video of Rani enjoying some chocolate chip ice cream before bed.
In the clip, the toddler insists that her ice cream was not meant for sharing, even with mom, and refuses to let go of the spoon.
Hudson shares Rani with partner Danny Fujikawa.
She’s also a mom to 17-year-old Ryder Robinson whom she shares with Chris Robinson, and 10-year-old Bingham Hawn Bellamy with Matt Bellamy.
The actress recently spoke out about her co-parenting lifestyle with ex-fiancé Bellamy.
"One thing that Matt said to me, which I loved, is, 'I just want to make sure that Bing feels like he's gaining something, not losing something,' " the Oscar nominee said. "I think it's even bonded us closer — me, Matt, Elle and Danny — because we have to trust that we're protecting each other."
In January, Hudson said that she has "high" expectations for her blended family.
"I've got multiple dads, I've got kids all over the place," she said on an episode of Sunday Today with Willie Geist. Hudson added, "The only expectations I really have that are really high on my life is with my kids and with family stuff.”
