Turning 42 has made Kate Hudson go two pieces.
The “Fool’s Gold” actress showed off her stunning physique in a red bikini as she posed in front of a picturesque nature scene with her two-year-old daughter, Rani Rose.
In the snap, Hudson stands tall on some rocks while holding a beverage up to her mouth as little Rani strikes a fierce model pose in an adorable heart print swimsuit.
“Like mother like daughter,” Hudson captioned the post. “Celebrate mom with us this year!”
The “Music” actress shares Rani with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa. The mother of three also has 17-year-old son Ryder Robinson from her previous marriage to Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson and nine-year-old son Bingham with Muse frontman Matt Bellamy.
Hudson’s mother-daughter outing comes just days after turning 42 on April 19th.
The birthday celebration consisted of a glamorous dinner party at Hudson’s mother Goldie Hawn’s home.
Hudson shared a series of photos from the evening, which showed friends and family dining over a candlelit table and sipping cocktails poolside.
“Mama and Pa hosted the best bday din and it was such a treat to safely gather. What a joy to be together like this. Thank you @shibumidtla @imari.la for a beautiful Omakase dinner and sake pairing!" she captioned the pics.

She posted a throwback photo of herself with the actor, who she considers her father, and her mother, who is Russell's longtime partner. Hudson called the post “my insta love letter to my dad.”
