Katy Perry opens the portal for her new album ‘143’

Singer Katy Perry has dropped details surrounding her forthcoming album, 143, as well as news of a brand new single arriving on July 11.

After promising to open the portal on her social accounts last night, today Pop icon Katy Perry has revealed that her sixth studio album, 143 -- numerical code for “I love you” -- is set to hit shelves and streaming services on September 20. Perry's last album was 2020's Smile.

Additionally, this Thursday, July 11, Katy will unveil the record's first single, "Woman's World," along with a brand new music video. Take a look at the preview below.

Perry “set out to create a bold, exuberant, celebratory dance-pop album with the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a throughline message,” she says on her website. "The result is a sexy, fearless, return to form for the multi-faceted musician with an album jam packed with the empowering, sexy, & provocative pop anthems you’ve come to love. This is an album with a lot of heart and a lot of BPM."

Pre-orders for Katy Perry's 143 are available now. Though no official tracklisting has been revealed just yet, fans can check out the incredible album art below.
