The Cubs inspired the nation as they became the first time in the school's nearly 70-year history to play for the title. While they didn't end up winning the championship game, Clarkson was still impressed (as we all were!) with their hard work, determination and historic run.
On her show, Clarkson was full of surprises for the California team. She first announced that the coaches and players would be seeing Spiderman: No Way Home in theaters with special open captions.
Afterwards, Kelly announced that she'll be donating $25,000 to the team's Booster Club. The money will go towards improving the team's stadium by adding bleachers, lights, and other renovations.
