Kelsea Balleini is living her best life with continued success in Country music, in addition to opportunities with some big-time stars. From recording an audiobook with Dolly Parton to celebrating a #1 song with Kenny Chesney, there’s clearly nothing this girl can’t do, so what’s next on her list — could it be acting?

OK, maybe not. Kelsea shared she is a “horrible” at acting, and while she’ll never say never — she doesn’t see herself filling a part of the silver screen.
“I’m never going to say no, because I’ve surprised myself with stuff before, but I don’t think I’m an actress. I just don’t see that in my future,” Kelsea told Audacy’s Rob + Holly. “I just feel like I shut down. How do you remember the script? I did one audition — one — and I, it took me forever to learn the script.”

She continued, “and one of the scenes I had to cry. I literally was in my house, like shoving an onion in my eyeball trying to cry. I was like, ‘This is not for me.’”
While the actual acting may not be Kelsea’s forte, she did say she has been exploring different ways to get involved in the film industry. “I will say, I am working on more ways to get involved in that world,” she disclosed.
Whatever she decides to do, we have no doubt she’ll excel… as she always does.
