"I recorded the record 'Silver Sands Marina' over about a 3 year period, and every one of those songs truly, is a reflection, almost like a mirror to what my life is right now," Chesney shares. "Now you're gonna get a little bit of nostalgia. You're gonna get a little bit of the joyful silly side with a song called 'Goldfish.' One of my favorite songs on this record is about good small town gossip and a song called 'Talkin' Dirt,' which I've never heard a a a song like that before, but that's an example of all the different roads that we get to go down on 'Silver Sands Marina,' and it took a little time to do that."
