It’s been confirmed the group will revisit their early years of the 1970s in an upcoming biopic titled, Shout It Out Loud, scheduled to release via Netflix in 2024.

The group’s longtime manager Doc McGhee recently confirmed plans for the project when he appeared on The Rock Experience With Mike Brunn show.

“It’s a biopic about the first four years of KISS,” he said. “We’re just starting it now. We’ve already sold it, it’s already done, we have a director McG. [The deal is] we have a director that’s moving along and that’ll come in ’24.”

The director speculated for the film is McG, who is best known for his work on Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle and various music videos. His involvement is pure speculation at this point, as he has not confirmed he is directing the forthcoming project.

The film is set to feature all original members and tell the story of their friendship and the formative years of the group in Queens, New York in the early 1970s.
