Mother Monster took to social media to announce the massive reworked project and wrote, “In addition to the album’s 14 original songs, #TheTenthAnniversary edition will also include a second disc of reimagined versions of #BornThisWay songs by incredible artists who both represent and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community. The first reimagined track, #Judas by the one and only @BigFreedia, is out now!”

The whole album will arrive on June 18, but the first track released from the reimagined record is a cover of “Judas” by the iconic “Queen Diva” and New Orleans-born rapper, Big Freedia.

The rapper shared, “Judas was my favorite song when it came out originally, so I really wanted to cover,” also adding, “To me, ‘Judas’ is a love song about when someone does you dirty. I’ve sure had my experience with that. Who can’t relate?”

In the weeks to follow collaborators will be revealed, and the arrival of remixed tracks like “You & I,” “Marry the Night,” “Highway Unicorn,” “Born This Way,” and “Edge of Glory,” will also debut.

The record is available for pre-order here.

BTW officially reached its decade landmark on May 23, and Gaga celebrated at the legendary LGBTQ+ bar, The Abbey, located in West Hollywood. The beloved purveyor of Pop was awarded a key to the city of West Hollywood for her work and a Born This Way street mural, painted in the colors of pride flag was revealed on Los Angeles’ Roberston Boulevard, to honor the artist and her inclusive music.

Weho Mayor, Lindsay P. Horvath, concluded the ceremony by declaring May 23 ‘Born This Way Day.”
