Doja Cat playfully covered Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper‘s A Star Is Born duet “Shallow.”

The GRAMMY-winning artist performed the hit original song on Instagram Live Wednesday (July 27), not once but twice. Barely enunciating the lyrics, she screeched out the chorus in a high-pitched tone. Both Doja and Gaga fans have since re-posted the clip across social media. What’s more, Lady Gaga herself commented on the hilarious “Shallow” cover via TikTok, writing “lady that’s a serve.”
“Shallow” was released in 2018 as the lead single from the A Star is Born soundtrack. The ballad peaked at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and won several notable awards. “Shallow” respectively received the Academy Award, the Golden Globe Award, and Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Original Song. It was also nominated for four GRAMMY Awards including Record of the Year.
