The LAPD has announced five arrests after an investigation into the kidnapping of Lady Gaga's dogs.

The LAPD said in a press release that four of the suspects, who were arrested, are all documented gang members from LA.

The pop star's dog walker was also shot while walking her dogs in Hollywood in February. There was also a video of the shooting that came out earlier this year.

Earlier this year, Ryan Fischer was walking three French bulldogs in Hollywood when two suspects shot the victim. Two of the dogs were stolen while one ran away. The incident happened in the area of Sierra Bonita Avenue and Sunset Blvd. The suspects approached the victim in a white Nissan Altima four-door.

Lady Gaga had reportedly offered a $500,000 reward.

Then, on Feb. 26, the LAPD said in the press release that a woman met Lady Gaga’s staff and Robbery Homicide Detectives at the LAPD Olympic Station with the two missing dogs.

The following suspects were arrested:

James Jackson, 18 years, 664-187 PC/Attempt Murder

Jaylin White, 19 years, 664-187 PC/Attempt Murder

Lafayette Whaley, 27 years, 664-187 PC/Attempt Murder

Harold White, 40 years, 32 PC/Accessory Attempt Murder

Jennifer McBride, 50 years, 32 PC/Accessory Attempt Murder

The LAPD said in a press release that "James Jackson, Jaylin White, and Lafayette Whaley were involved in the robbery and shooting of the victim. Detectives do not believe the suspects were targeting the victim because of the dogs’ owner. However, evidence suggests the suspects knew the great value of the breed of dogs and was the motivation for the robbery."

Jennifer McBride, who was determined to be an accessory after the initial crime, reported that she found the dogs and responded to the reward email to return the dogs.

McBride ultimately brought the dogs to LAPD Olympic Station. Detectives were able to establish McBride had a relationship with the father of one of the suspects, Harold White, the LAPD said.
