On August 23, the chart-topping artist was given the title of Chief Impact Officer at Taco Bell. The new partnership will lead to various exciting menu items, activities, collaborations, and massive support from the brand upon the arrival of his upcoming album, Montero.

However, this is not the first time the singer has worked for the taco chain. In 2017, the artist was on the team at a Taco Bell in the Atlanta area. Now with two global No.1 hits later, the 22-year-old is taking on the role of CIO, an honorary role that comes with responsibilities centered around food, music, and philanthropy.

During the first 60 days of his role, Lil Nas X and Taco Bell will offer an “exclusive experience” to support the release of his album. Menu innovations will come along with the new experience.

Additionally, the singer will work with the Taco Bell Foundation to honor and reward young creatives with the Live Más Scholarship.

Fans can also expect to start seeing the “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” crooner in new Taco Bell breakfast campaigns.

Mark King, CEO of Taco Bell shared, “Lil Nas X knows the job, the experience, and the culture Taco Bell creates for its fans - including its people. This unique partnership will deliver on more than just marketing, allowing us to tap into the genius of Lil Nas X to inspire our team members and align with our commitment to unlocking opportunities for young people."
