And of course, would it even be a Nas X announcement if it wasn’t a little extra, strike that and replace with extra extra.

Nas has been visually and musically stimulating us from the very start. Following the massive success of his first single “Old Town Road,” Lil Nas X released his debut EP 7 in June 2019. The short release was nominated for the 2020 GRAMMY Award for Album of the Year. Since issuing 7, Lil Nas X has solely shared singles including “Holiday,” “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” and his most recent release “Sun Goes Down.”

Okay, but let’s get back to discussing Nas’ visual album announcement. Inspired by the Marvel Studios intro to every MCU film, except for Nas’ version instead of Iron Man, Captain America and Black Widow, we’re served Nas’ Montero, and various other past music video characters including; the guardian angel, Nas the lap dancing devil lover, then the devil himself, Santa Nas X, Cowboy Nas X, and, well you get the point.

The entire thing is chef’s kiss amazing and since Steve Rogers is an old man now, we might just have ourselves a new contender and for America’s ass (just sayin’) - and see for yourself above.
