Not only has it been a year full of climbing the Country charts with his single, “Damn Strait,” but also bringing music from the album to fans on the road with his Same Truck Tour.
While there’s a lot to celebrate in his Country music career, Scotty is also readying for one of life’s biggest milestones in his personal life — becoming a first-time dad.
McCreery and his wife, Gabi, recently revealed they are expecting their first child together, a boy, due in the fall.
"We've gotten to live a lot of life and do some cool things, so seems like now's a good time to settle down a little and expand the family,” Scotty told PEOPLE regarding the big announcement.
