Nashville stars are all lined up to join the Friday night party on Audacy! Hanging with Rob + Holly this week is Cole Swindell! Listen on your favorite Audacy Country station.
Listen to your favorite music now on Audacy and check out Cole's interview with Rob + Holly below
Join hosts Rob + Holly as they kick the weekend off with today's hot Country artists like Gabby Barrett, Dustin Lynch, Kelsea Ballerini, Kane Brown and more every Friday night from 7PM - Midnight.
Cole joins Rob + Holly to talk everything from wearing bell bottom pants to show his support for Lainey Wilson to how the pair came together to record their single “Never Say Never.”
Swindell also details his experience filming the “Never Say Never” music video, which was recorded at abandoned prison in frigid temperatures, which totally gave Cole the creeps.
“That video was definitely one fo the coldest videos I’ve ever shot,” he told Audacy’s Rob + Holly. "We were at Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary outside of Knoxville, TN… I think it was colder in the prison than it was outside because obviously, it’s not functioning.”
He continued, “It was a weird feeling. Pretty creepy. The stuff on the jail cells — like the walls — just the stuff people had written on there. One guy had like, the tally marks [of] how many days [he’d been there]. Stuff like that is just kind of creepy.”
The experience seems to be well-worth it as the video is now up for Video of the Year at the 2022 CMT Music Awards. See if Lainey and Cole take home the prize by tuning in on April 11.
Hear more about Cole’s experience shooting the video, his new album and more on the Friday Night Takeover with Rob and Holly this Friday. Tune in via your favorite Audacy Country stations at 7PM. Plus, be sure to get your votes in for Rob + Holly's daily Top 7 @ 7 countdown!
