It’s a big week for the Louisiana native who will celebrate the release of her brand new album, Whirlwind, on Friday. The 14-song project marks Wilson’s third studio album as well as the follow-up to her GRAMMY-winning Bell Bottom Country. The album title perfectly describes the past few years for Wilson, who has had the opportunity to make dreams she didn’t even know she had come true.
From opening her own bar in Nashville to becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opry, endless collaborations, Entertainer of the Year recognition and endless A-list collaborations, the sky’s the limit for Wilson.
“Writing & recording these 14 songs over the past couple of years has helped me stay grounded in ways you’d never believe,” Wilson said with a video revealing the Whirlwind track list on social media. “This album brought me back to my roots and made me feel at home during times when I couldn’t have been further away and my biggest hope is that it gives you that same sense of comfort that it has for me.”
