The Country duo enjoyed some time reflecting over the holiday season as they celebrated 10 years as a duo. They took to social media to express their thanks to fans who have been with them every step of the way.
“We met exactly 10 years ago today (December 7, 2012) and our lives were forever changed,” the captioned a video of their journey thus far. “With your love + support, we’ve been able to accomplish so many incredible things that we’ve dreamed of since we were little kids.”
The pair went on to thank one another for their friendship crediting it as a major part of the success they’ve seen.
“The one thing that has been a constant throughout our decade long journey is our friendship,” they shared. “More importantly than anything else, we’re genuinely just two best friends who get to do what we love together and we wouldn’t trade it for the world.”
The duo is currently working on their 5th studio album and feel they are “just getting started” on the rest of their career. Shay Mooney especially feels the new year is a fresh start for him as he recently shared his weight loss journey of losing more than 50 pounds.
