Coming up on the one-year anniversary of his most recent album, Same Truck, Scotty — who is one of American Idol's most successful alums, has a lot to celebrate.
Not only has it been a year full of his single, “Damn Strait,” climbing the charts and bringing music from the album to fans on the road, but it’s also been an exciting year in his personal life. McCreery and his wife, Gabi, recently revealed they are expecting their first child together, a boy, due in the fall.
"We've gotten to live a lot of life and do some cool things, so seems like now's a good time to settle down a little and expand the family,” Scotty told PEOPLE regarding the big announcement.
