Actor London Brown, who plays Uncle Marvin on the hit Starz series Raising Kanan, is stepping into the season with ten toes down and ready to go out with a bang.

The journey over the last four seasons of Raising Kanan has been fraught with ambition, betrayal, and the relentless fight for the family to be on top. Marvin has been a key piece in the family dynamic as the enforcer who always delivers. This season, his mission is different, and the family is broken.
London Brown sat down with Audacy and Romeo International to share some thoughts on not only his character’s arc over the years but also his appreciation of what the show was able to accomplish.
Are you satisfied with your character and where he is as you enter the final season of 'Raising Kanan'?
"I just think that as an actor, you always try to make these characters as whole as you can. You make yourself try to show different facets of them so they become real people. So I just think that with this season, Marvin is just, I think this is a side of Marvin that the fans would want to see that they haven't seen. He has been kind of cool. He handles business before, but this time, I think the audience is, even though he's going out taking vengeance, I feel like the audience is going to be right with him to do it."
"I remember in season one, they were just like, man, just writing him off. Marvin’s irresponsible and he was missing all the cues, but I think this season is one of those things where it's like a guy walking through the town and as he's walking towards his destination whatever the situation is, people start to follow along with him, 5 people, then 10, you look up, you got a whole group of people cheering him on. I feel like the community is behind Marvin this season. So we'll see what happens."
