Alongside the single, the New Zealander’s song comes with a music video for “Mood Ring,” where the artist trades in her classic, dark curly locks, for slick platinum blonde glossed hair.
Right on theme with the name of her upcoming album, the new visual piece is sun-drenched and ethereal, plus now she has the glowing sun-kissed hair to match. In the video, the solar goddess is seen saging a glamping tent while her new hairdo flows effortlessly.
Aside from falling in love with yet another Lorde track, fans are wondering if the new blonde look is a wig, or if the Kiwi artist took a page out of Billie Eilish’s blonde ambition book?
Based on an appearance Lorde made in New York City in mid-July, many are speculating that she is just wearing a wig, and her amazing brunette waves are still alive and well.
