The Country superstar and American Idol judge partied it up on the road for the special occasion with friends, family and fans during a stop in Bristow, VA on his recently launched, Proud To Be Right Here Tour.
Bryan warmed up some birthday moves, before taking the stage in front of thousands, with a family dance party on his bus and by the looks of it, dancing was not optional. Luke could be seen shaking his hips while holding a cutout of his own head because, why not? Lucky for us, Luke’s wife, Caroline, caught the entire thing on film and shared it via social media.
The pre-show festivities continued for Luke and his family as they were joined by his road family and Jiffy Lube who serenaded him with ‘Happy Birthday’ and continued the celebration with cake and a fireball-filled piñata from his wife, Caroline.
“Thank you @jiffylubelive for making Luke’s 45th so much fun,” Caroline wrote online. “And yes, I put Fireball in a piñata. We love you Luke!”
The surprises continued for Luke and he took the stage at Jiffy Lube Live concert venue with a capacity of 25,000+. Fans had their turn to sing ‘Happy Birthday,’ and laughed as Bryan received a set of gag gifts on stage including a lamp, fire extinguisher, potato chips and several pairs of Jockey underwear from his band, crew and supporting acts.
While Luke was the birthday boy, he was behind the biggest gift of the night, which went to seven-year-old fan, Darci Claire. The young fan caught Luke’s eye as she sang along to his song, “Waves,” in the front row sporting a “Country Girl Shake It For Me” homemade tee.
“That was awesome,” Bryan said, shouting her out from the stage while giving her a high-five and blowing a kiss. “Come here!” He told her as he lifted her onto the stage giving her a huge hug.
Bryan invited Darci to stay on stage as he sang, “Down To One,” but little did he know, she would steal the show in her cowgirl boots as she sang along with him, not missing a single word.
Luke’s Proud To Be Right Here Tour is scheduled to continue through October with stops in Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Dallas and San Diego.
