Luke Combs is expecting his first child with his wife Nicole this spring as the Country star admitted he’s gotten quite the crash course in baby education.

During his appearance at the Grand Ole Opry this past weekend (via People), Combs spoke about the baby prep he’s been going through and admitted he’s “a little nervous” about becoming a dad.
"I got a lot of stuff to do," Combs said. "I got a lot on my plate ... I'm uncovering things every day. I'm buying all kinds of clothes I didn't know existed."
As the couple is getting their baby’s nursery in order, Combs expressed amazement at how many items they’ve amassed. "It's a lot of stuff man," he said. "I didn't know what a bassinet was. But that's a thing apparently. A lot of new words I'm learning."
Combs has been soliciting advice from his friends for parenting tips. "It's more like, 'What do I need to be doing right now?'” He joked.
“I realized the baby just doesn't need me at all. I'm just there to clean stuff. ... It comes out and it's like, 'Why are you mouth breathing all over me? I don't need you to be around.'"
Luke and Nicole shared the news that they were expecting back in January and revealed that the couple will be having a baby boy. “Here we go, y’all!” Luke wrote in an Instagram post at the time. “‘Lil dude Combs is coming this Spring! Couldn’t be more excited to start a family with this babe. It’s gonna be a hell of a ride @nicolejcombs.”
