Combs took to social media Wednesday and announced that his new album will be released on June 24.
Speculation has been running high for the album, which he’s calling LC3 for now, ever since Combs said he was “right at the finish line” back in March.
Combs last released an album way back in 2019 with his smash hit What You See Is What You Get. In 2020, he dropped the deluxe version called What You See Ain’t Always What You Get featuring six brand new songs.
The record yielded a remarkable seven number one singles on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. When his song “Better Together” went number one, Combs became the first artist to ever score 10 consecutive number one singles on that chart. Since that time, he’s scored an additional two number one singles to bring his total up to 12.
LISTEN: Luke Combs teases his son’s name will rhyme with ‘orange’
We recently caught up with Luke at Tortuga Music Festival as he gave us a bit of a tease about the name of his son.
Luke and his wife Nicole will be welcoming their first child together in the coming months as the couple has been tight-lipped about what they’re planning on naming him.
After Audacy’s Rob + Holly asked what the baby’s name will rhyme with, Luke quickly responded with “orange.” After a bit of sleuthing, we realized that one of the only names rhyming with orange is… Sporange? Well, guess we’ll just have to wait to find out like everyone else!
