Drugs are bad, mmmkay? That being said, humans throughout history have chosen to ingest countless molecular mixtures in order to search for what they consider to be a higher consciousness, or simply pass their time while watching the game. Actor Megan Fox recently told late-night host Jimmy Kimmel about her recent "hell" experience with an illicit substance, while Machine Gun Kelly subsequently recalled being given an extra dose of the drug.

During his visit with Kimmel on Tuesday, March 29, MGK spoke of his and fiancee Megan's recent experience with ayahuasca together when in Costa Rica. While Fox previously said she was not fond of the experience, Kelly ended up calling it "one of the most important things that happened" to him in his entire life.

“I remember walking up, it was a circle of about 20 people, and you are in the forest or the jungle, you’re dieting, you’re not eating past 5PM or drinking water or anything,” Kelly explained to Kimmel. “I was the last person to take it. I remember everybody had one cup. They get to me and the Shaman says something to the translator, and the translator goes, ‘she says you have a big shadow of darkness behind you and you need more.’ And everyone in the circle was just looking when they gave me more of the cups because they all just did one.”

Kelly then remembered "going to the third night and Megan was like ‘I can’t, I can’t do this. I can’t go back. Her first night, it was rainbows and unicorns, it was great. Her second night, it was ‘I don’t ever want to see that again.’… We were exorcising some things out of us that we needed to get rid of. The plant was a medicine that really went inside, you could feel it working inside your body. Even after you left, it stayed there. It was interesting.”

In other MGK news, he just dropped a brand new video for his latest mainstream sellout single "make up sex," featuring blackbear. The clip shows Kelly rocking his guitar while surrounded by all-pink-everything and a bunch of adorable kittens. At one point Kelly even turns into a cat himself!

Machine Gun Kelly will be on the road in 2022, hitting 52 North American and European arenas to support his brand new album beginning in June. The shows will feature a ton of special guests, including blackbear, Avril LavigneTravis Barker, WILLOW, PVRIS, and more.
