Madonna dropped a brand new trailer for her forthcoming Madame X documentary on October 5, and the visual piece isn’t just a sexy invitation to her new film, it also is a major sneak peek look at the drama and glamour that takes place during her 'Madame X' tour.

The new preview opens with the Pop icon whispering, “Sometimes I despair, sometimes I have hope, sometimes I don't know, sometimes I feel... pushed.”

Madonna’s “Ciao Bella” plays through the video, while clips of the songstress commanding the stage in her Madame X eyepatch fly across the screen. Dance numbers and detailed costumes are also revealed in the new trailer. Plus, shots of Lourdes, Madonna’s daughter, are intertwined throughout the piece.

The new Paramount+ concert film debuted last month at the Times Square Edition Hotel in New York City. The documentary will arrive for streaming on Paramount+ on Friday, October 8.

The film follows Madonna’s yearlong tour, which supported her 14th studio album, Madame X. The tour kicked off in September 2019 and wrapped just before the onset of pandemic lockdowns on March 8, 2020, in Paris.

During the film premiere, Madonna shared, “There was nothing between me and the crowd, and that was an incredible experience. I needed to document that — the process, the rehearsals, the show itself, what was in my mind, what inspires certain songs. It’s a different show, it’s a different time in my life.”
