Martha Stewart is getting candid about her love life.
Stewart recently revealed that she broke up with the iconic Anthony Hopkins because of one of his most famous movie roles.
During an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Stewart participated in two segments titled “Two Truths and a Lie” and “Where’s The Lie, Martha?" during which she explained why she cut ties with the 84-year-old actor.
“I dated Sir Anthony Hopkins but broke up with him because I couldn’t stop thinking of him as Hannibal Lecter,” the clue read. However, DeGeneres said it was a lie.
Stewart proved her wrong by confirming that the fact was also a "truth."
“I have a big scary house in Maine that’s way by itself on a hundred acres in the forest,” Stewart revealed. “I couldn’t even imagine taking Anthony Hopkins there.”
She added, “All I could think of was him eating, you know….”
In the movie “The Silence of the Lambs,” Hopkins played Hannibal Lecter, a serial killer who devoured his victims, according to People.
Stewart is known for staying mum on the status of her love life. However, some say she may be a bit of a heartbreaker.

“I’ve had 14 proposals, I don’t know what for, but they’re proposals,” Stewart said during an appearance on E! ’s “Daily Pop.”
In the now-infamous pic, Stewart can be seen hanging out in her expansive swimming pool in East Hampton, New York. She struck a pose with her glowing skin and pouty lips on full display and gave fans a glimpse of her bare shoulders.
