With Launch, Audacy will introduce millions of listeners across the country to music they should know and connect them to artists like Doechii.
Florida-born and raised rapper and singer Doechii, following impressive MTV, BET, GLAAD, and Soul Train nominations, and a Billboard Women in Music Rising Star win in 2022 and 2023 respectively, helps to kick off Launch with her single “What It Is" featured across Audacy for the next several weeks.

Doechii first arrived on Soundcloud in 2015 with her debut track "Girls.“ Her self-released debut EP, Oh the Places You'll Go, dropped in 2020 featuring the single "Yucky Blucky Fruitcake,” which went viral the following year on TikTok, quickly gaining her label interest. Her second EP, Bra-Less, arrived that year as well. Doechii was also featured on Isaiah Rashad's "Wat U Sed" with Kal Banx, performing the song together at the 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards. The artist was introduced to an even bigger audience opening for SZA on her 2021 tour as well, and in March 2022 signed with Capitol Records, as Top Dawg Entertainment’s first female rapper.
Doechii dropped the single "Persuasive" with SZA towards the end of last year, featured on David Guetta and Afrojack's "Trampoline" alongside Missy Elliott and Bia, and released her track "Crazy” before her first major label release, She / Her / Black Bitch, in August 2022.
