During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live with guest host Anthony Anderson, Winkler explained the moment he crossed paths with Mick at a sushi restaurant and detailed all the awkwardness that came with.

“I was in a restaurant, and I walked up to Mick Jagger and I said, ‘Hello, I'm Henry Winkler and I have all of your albums,’” the actor told Anderson. “It is such a pleasure to meet you. I was at your concert!”

According to Winkler, Mick slowly turned his head to mutter “Henry” and kept about his business which sent Winkler into a downward spiral of embarrassment.

“I slunk out of the restaurant,” said Winkler, admitting he couldn’t stop blurting out compliments at the 78-year-old rockstar. “I am so sorry. I didn't mean to disturb you. Enjoy the sushi. It was such a pleasure. I love your outfit.’”
