Just another addition to The Kid LAROI’s monumental rise to superstardom, the Sydney rap-singer is set to perform alongside Miley Cyrus for her upcoming return as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live next weekend.

Miley announced the news on Twitter, sharing a photo of herself with the young Australian rapper, with the caption, “Live from New York with little bro.”

Now, we can’t say for certain what the two will be performing, but odds are he’ll be there for the two to perform their remix of LAROI’s 2020 track “WITHOUT YOU,” which we now know is set to drop Friday, April 30.

Besides Miley’s obvious preference for Australian men, she’s pretty well known for her activism in many realms, though particularly for the environment and women’s rights. With that said, the Smilerz were’t too happy with their kween, and criticized Miley for promoting her upcoming SNL appearance with the episode’s guest host Elon Musk, since he’s been accused of “destroying the planet,” and being a “men's rights activist.”

After an Elon fan tweeted a picture of Musk sitting on a massive wrecking ball captioned,“Alright Elon just…. hear me out,” tagging him, Miley and SNL. Musk replied, “Might be something there haha, which led Cyrus to respond, 'I’m down if you are!' with an emoji of a rocket, moon and Saturn, followed by “#MileyAndMusk to the moon!”

Clearly the host pairing and parody to Miley's 2013 hit “Wrecking Ball,” didn’t go over well with some, and responses started flowing in. With one follower saying, “Delete this we will pretend that we didn't see,” and another writing, “bestie what are u doing.” The overall conscious was clear, “no thanks we only want miley.”

Well, despite what many might want, next week’s episode will still feature Musk and Miley, with a side of The Kid LAROI. Until then, and until the remix comes out, enjoy the original version of “WITHOUT YOU” below.
