With the head-turning title of her campaign, “It Takes Balls,” Lambert has raised more than $175k in grants that will benefit 48 spay and neuter programs across the state of Tennessee. Those programs offer everything from low-cost spay and neuter clinics to support for state-wide spay and neuter initiatives.
"We've been so excited by the great response we received to our new spay and neuter program and know that the organizations we're supporting with 'It Takes Balls' grants will make a meaningful difference in helping curb pet homelessness across Tennessee," Lambert expressed in a statement.
Lambert started her MuttNation rescue with her mom, Bev in 2009 to ensure as many homeless dogs as possible would find a safe and happy home. To date, the foundation has raised a cumulative $8 million through various campaigns and generous donors.
